A non-toxic trap for fruit flies. These pre-baited sticky glue pads are ready for use within our range of Ecologica glueboard hangers. Fruit flies have photoaxis meaning they are attracted to the bright yellow colour of the pads, they then become stuck to the highly adhesive surface.

Can be placed in food preparation areas or sensitive sites e.g. schools, nursing homes, hospitals. Child & pet friendly.

The fruit fly (Drosophila) are small flies you may have probably seen in your kitchen and especially common during late summer or early Autumn as they are attracted to ripened or fermenting fruits and vegetables. Tomatoes, melons, grapes, kiwis, rotting bananas, potatoes, onions, fruit cordials, sour milk, beer, vinegar or unrefrigerated produce attract fruit flies. #Rule 1: The best way to avoid problems with fruit flies is to eliminate sources of attraction.

How to use:
Remove the protective paper covering the sticky surface and place in our Ecologica Glue Trap Hanger.  Hang the pad in the hanger in an area showing fruit fly activity.
